he was a low lifeJack Daniels’ guzzling alcoholic

And Frankie wants to leave

and Frankie doesn’t want to stick around
Because when I’m hanging by a thread
And Frankie is about to snap
Because when I get lost
And Frankie can’t find his way back

This guy reaches out his hand
And with all his strength he hangs on to me
He gives me all he’s got
And pulls Frankie back into recovery
By walking the walk to any length
In his own recovery
He shows me, too, that’s how far I must go

He’s my hero
